A micro wedding at RW How is a full buyout: both West Barn spaces, the Farm Haus, and nobody else on the grounds for two nights. Letchworth sits across the valley and the park entrance is a few hundred feet down the hill.

How the weekend runs

You have the place for two nights, so the day is not squeezed into six hours.

Friday Everyone arrives

Nobody drives back to a hotel at eleven.

The buyout covers Highbanks, Southview and the Farm Haus. The two barn spaces alone hold five bedrooms and four full baths and sleep up to fourteen, so the people who matter most on Saturday are already asleep on the property Friday night.

Each barn space has its own entrance, its own parking and its own fire pit, which is useful when half the group wants to keep going and the other half wants the lights off.

Saturday morning Getting ready

Four bathrooms means four bathrooms.

Highbanks has a soaking tub under a chandelier and a walk-in shower with two rainfall heads in the Queen suite. Southview has the same count on its side. Pre-order the luxe bath package and it is laid out when you arrive, robes included.

Both kitchens are stocked and both have island seating, so breakfast for the wedding party happens in the house rather than in a parking lot.

Afternoon The ceremony

The yard is the venue.

The RW How property runs to a vast open yard with the Highbanks of Letchworth across the valley behind it. Both barn spaces have full-height glass garage doors that roll up onto the pasture, which is the wet-weather plan and also the good-weather plan.

The sheep, the potbelly pig and the Chick-INN hens live here. Guests greet them at the green pasture gate. The pens stay closed, which keeps the animals calm on a day with a lot of strangers on the lawn.

Evening Dinner

There is already a farm table under two chandeliers.

The Highbanks great room seats dinner under a rusted corrugated tin ceiling and a pair of crystal chandeliers, and Southview has its own dining and bar seating on the other side of the building. Both kitchens are stocked chef’s kitchens with room to actually work.

Charcuterie boards, brunch boxes, garden crudité and full grocery stocking are on the enhancement list and get set up before you walk in.

After dark Two fires

Then it is a Saturday night with your favourite people on it.

Each barn space has its own fire pit area with chairs on its own lawn. Two fires, one property, and nobody counting down to a venue curfew because the venue is where you are sleeping.

Sunday morning you are still there. That is most of the argument for a two night minimum.

Here for our honeymoon. The welcoming crew was the best we ever had. Squeals from Hazel and bleating from Boots, clucks from the chickens, my husband had a hard time pulling me away from the animals just to walk inside. West barn is artistically inspiring, there is no denying Amanda put a lot of thought into everything she placed inside these 4 walls. Our honeymoon was that much more special because of the space we stayed in! Oh, and the private chef and meal, 100% worth it. We will be back!

When I say I have never experienced an Airbnb like this, I mean it. The personal touches and care taken with the home itself, the immaculate cleanliness, the staggering amount of extras and amenities. Amanda let our 3 girls follow her around and help feed the animals. What an incredibly gifted couple, you can tell they put their everything into making this experience one of a kind. It was very hard to leave, and we simply cannot wait to come back.

The practical part.

How many guests can we have?

Twenty five, including the two of you. That is the published maximum for a micro wedding at the RW How property.

Do we have to book the whole property?

Yes. A micro wedding requires a full property buyout, Highbanks and Southview plus the Farm Haus, for a minimum of two nights. Nobody else is on the grounds while you are.

What months can we do this in?

May through November at RW How.

Will we need to rent anything extra?

Possibly. Additional rentals and restrooms may be required depending on the size of the event and the details of the day. That gets worked out with you before you book, not after.

Do you plan the wedding as well?

If you want that. Wedding planning is a separate service and runs from day-of coordination up to full planning. The Weddings + Design page has the outline and Amanda fills in the rest.

Are the farm animals around during the wedding?

They live here, so yes. Guests greet them at the green pasture gate. The pens themselves stay closed, which keeps everybody safe and the animals calm.

What does it cost?

Rates move with the date, the season, the day of the week and your guest count, so the booking page is the only honest answer. Cleaning fees apply.

When can we check in?

Check in is 3pm and check out is 10am, same as every Dell Collective property. Both are self-serve unless you ask otherwise, and instructions land in your email at 11am on arrival day.
