Policies + House Rules
Guest Registration
All guests must be registered and included in your reservation. For our guests safety, we do not allow visitors, additional overnight guests ,or gatherings on property without prior consent.
For a direct booking, all guest(s) above the age of 18 must sign the rental agreement PRIOR to check in. Check in details and keys will be provided once this is completed.
A security deposit will be required for direct bookings and returned within 5 business days of your checkout.
Events
Events of any kind are not permitted unless you arrange a full property buyout and have a guest list of 25 persons or less.
Inquire for pricing and event reservations.
Events are not permitted on the Silver Lake property.
Pets
Pets are only allowed when pre-registered at the time of booking. Pet fee applies. We do ask that pets remain on leash at all times when outdoors for the safety of the pet, our guests, and our farm animals that live on the property.
Smoking + Vaping
No smoking or vaping is permitted inside any of our spaces or barns. If you wish to smoke, please do so at least 20ft from any building or structure.
Cancellation
We have a strict cancellation policy. If we are able to rebook your exact dates at the same rate, we will work with you on a further resolution.
Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 21 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 120 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 120 days of check-in.
Security
We do have exterior security cameras for your safety and security. Tampering with the cameras in any way will result in immediate rental termination and a $500 fee.
Repairs
If something seems off or broken, please notify the owner immediately. Do not attempt to fix something on your own. Guests are responsible for replacement or repair costs associated with damage that occurs during their stay.
Personal Belongings
As a part of check-out procedures, guests are responsible for making sure all personal belongings are collected. Dell Collective is not responsible for forgotten items or items left behind.
Restricted Areas
Rw How Haus: Guests are not permitted to enter the locked cleaner’s closets (2), the Farm Haus garage and basement, the West Barn (Highbanks and Southview) or any animal pastures, pens, and/or enclosures. You may enter the animal barn at your own risk to observe the animals. Animal experiences must be scheduled with an owner present.
Highbanks: The Southview side of the barn + silo, the farmhouse and garage, locked cleaners closet, locked service hallway, or any animal pastures, pens, and/or enclosures. You may enter the animal barn at your own risk to observe the animals. Animal experiences must be scheduled with an owner present.
Southview: The Highbanks side of the barn, the farmhouse and garage, locked cleaners closet, locked service hallway, or any animal pastures, pens, and/or enclosures. You may enter the animal barn at your own risk to observe the animals. Animal experiences must be scheduled with an owner present.
Silver Lake Haus Restricted areas: The garage is off limits to guests, as well as the underside of the home and the attic.
Landscaping
Mowing occurs 1 day per week that fluctuates seasonally. Please note that the landscaping crew may be on property for about 1 hour, 1 day per week.
Outdoor Grills
Guests are responsible for any propane refills needed, any necessary grill supplies, and cleaning the grill prior to and after using the grill. Grills are not to be moved by guests.
There is a galvanized bucket with some grill items for your use, along with a fire extinguisher.
When using the on property BBQ Grill, it must be supervised by an adult AT ALL TIMES.
*Please note, we are extremely sensitive to grills having an attendant at all times due to a past grill fires by guests. We love to have this amenity available, but expect the grill policies to be followed.
*There are not grills available for use at the West Barn spaces.
Outdoor common Areas
Rw How Property- Highbanks, Southview and Rw How Haus: The vast outdoor yard areas, animal viewing areas & barn, and garden spaces should be considered shared space to be used in common with any and all other guests on property.
Silver Lake Haus: There are no common areas on property. Please be respectful of the neighbors on either side of the home. This is a quiet residential neighborhood.
Parking
Parking is only permitted in the gravel driveways. Please DO NOT drive or park in the grass at any time.
