Outdoor Space
The RW How property has a vast yard area, great for enjoying the outdoors, yard games, or the farm animals that live on the property. There is a designated fire pit area for Highbanks guests on the East lawn in front of the barn that includes lawn chairs. Two cars can park side by side in front of the barn space. West Barn guests use the outer loop of the driveway; Farm Haus guests use the inner loop. The property is large and spacious, providing privacy and adequate space for all of our guests.
Pastures + Farm Animals
The view of the East lawn also leads to the pasture where, in the summer and fall, you will find some of our farm animal friends grazing their days away. You may greet them at the green gate with a slice of bread (one per day, please!) and they will soon become your best pals. The ladies at the Chick-INN will provide you with fresh eggs daily during the summer and fall seasons. For your safety, pastures and animal pens are off limits to our guests. Please contact Amanda if you wish to arrange a private, up close animal experience.
“Here for our honeymoon. The welcoming crew was the best we ever had. Squeals from Hazel and bleating from Boots, clucks from the chickens, my husband had a hard time pulling me away from the animals just to walk inside. West barn is artistically inspiring, there is no denying Amanda put a lot of thought into everything she placed inside these 4 walls. Our honeymoon was that much more special because of the space we stayed in! Oh, and the private chef and meal, 100% worth it. We will be back!

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check in is 3pm, check out is 10am. All check ins and check outs will be self check in or self check out unless otherwise requested. Check your email at 11am on arrival day for detailed check in instructions!
How close are you to Letchworth State Park?
The RW How Property overlooks the Highbanks of Letchworth State Park. If you pull out of the driveway and turn left, the Perry entrance to Letchworth State Park is a few hundred feet down the hill.
Are there animals on the property?
Yes! Guests can observe our animals from afar, greet them at the pasture gate for pets and snacks, or partake in a private animal experience with Amanda or Nate. Dairy farm tours are available as an optional enhancement!
Is there ample parking?
We reserve 2 parking spaces for each barn space at the West Barn. The outer loop of the driveway is reserved for West Barn guests, the inner loop for Haus guests. Please inquire if additional accommodations are needed.
Can we host our wedding at your property?
Events with a guest list of 25 or less are permitted. Hosting a small event or micro wedding requires a full property buyout (RW How Haus and both West Barn spaces). Additional rentals may be required depending on date and guest count.
