This seasonal cottage has much of its original charm with beautiful windows, original hardwood flooring, and expert craftsmanship. The large screened deck is a great spot to relax and catch the amazing views and watch the gorgeous sunrises.

The large back yard is perfect for grilling, yard games, and spreading out as needed. In the back yard, you are just a stones-throw away from the golf course at The Club at Silver Lake. Make sure to get a selfie with the giant Silver Lake Sea Serpent on the edge of the golf course!
The front yard has the perfect lake view to catch the east side sunrise. Lake access, a dock*, and fire pit are also available. Please bring your own local firewood or pre-order from Dell.
Boats can be put into the lake at the Silver Lake State Park. The Silver Lake Marina has paddle boards and boat rentals available.
*Boats may not be docked at the Silver Lake Haus dock.

This is a fantastic historical cottage on Silver Lake. The screened in porch is a magical space. We spent hours chatting, playing games, reading and just enjoying the view. Off the dock was a prime fishing spot. We caught a variety of fish. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen has updated appliances.
Amanda was a fabulous host!
What an incredible place for our “staycation”. Thank you Amanda & family for everything. We enjoyed many nights on the porch and by the beautiful water.
We are so blessed we found this place and are already planning when we can book again!

Dell Collective Check in times are 3pm. Check out times are 10am. All check ins and check outs will be self check in, or self check out unless otherwise requested. Please be respectful of these times, as our turnover team needs the allotted time to make our spaces perfect for you, and our incoming guests. Occasionally we are able to accommodate early check in or late check out- please enquire for availability. If we can accommodate it, we will let you know the week of your stay.
There are no animals on property at the Silver Lake Haus. You are welcome to inquire with Amanda about a private animal experience at the farm or RW How Property!
Please keep in mind that because we are located in the country on the lake, you will see the occasional spider, bug, duck, or goose on property.
Yes, the lake is swimmable! You can swim at the Dock on property or from the Perry public beach or Silver Lake State Park.
We do not provide kayaks or a boat. Please inquire about local rental options for Kayaks and small crafts.
Silver Lake Marina offers pontoon boat or paddle board rentals for pickup at the marina.
The Silver Lake Sea Serpent is a fun local legend that has essentially become the mascot of our curiously hip little town. Check out our blog for the story and visit the local shops for Sea Serpent gear or the Silver Lake Brewing Project for the best Sea Serpent brews!
The iconic Silver Lake Sea Serpent statue can be found behind the Silver Lake Haus in between our property and the Silver Lake Country Club, perfect for those Instagrammable moments!
The Silver Lake Haus is about a 10 minute drive to Letchworth State Park.
Yes, there is a private driveway dedicated to Lake Haus guests.
Please park in the driveway and not on the grass.
The Southview space is the most accessible. We highly recommend viewing each Hostfully listing for space specific accessibility details.
We do not permit events at this property. If you wish to have an event locally and utilize this property for getting ready or photos, the Silver Lake Haus is a great home base for you!
Local venues we recommend for weddings: Silver Lake Country Club, Breezeway Barns, Normandie Orchards, East Hill Creamery or Letchworth State Park.
