Outdoor Space
The large back yard is perfect for grilling, yard games, and spreading out. You are just a stone’s throw from the golf course at The Club at Silver Lake, make sure to get a selfie with the giant Silver Lake Sea Serpent on the edge of the golf course! The front yard has the perfect lake view to catch the east side sunrise. Lake access, a dock, and fire pit are also available. Boats can be put into the lake at Silver Lake State Park.

“This is a fantastic historical cottage on Silver Lake. The screened in porch is a magical space. We spent hours chatting, playing games, reading and just enjoying the view. Off the dock was a prime fishing spot. We caught a variety of fish. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen has updated appliances. Amanda was a fabulous host!

What are your rates?

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check in is 3pm, check out is 10am. All check ins and check outs will be self check in or self check out unless otherwise requested.
Are there animals on the property?
There are no animals on property at the Silver Lake Haus. You are welcome to inquire about a private animal experience at the farm or RW How Property! Because we are located in the country on the lake, you will see the occasional spider, bug, duck, or goose on property.
Can we swim in the lake?
Yes, the lake is swimmable! You can swim at the dock on property or from the Perry public beach or Silver Lake State Park.
Do you have kayaks or a boat we can use?
We do not provide kayaks or a boat. Silver Lake Marina offers pontoon boat or paddle board rentals for pickup at the marina.
What is the Silver Lake Sea Serpent?
A fun local legend that has essentially become the mascot of our curiously hip little town. The iconic statue can be found behind the Silver Lake Haus, between our property and the Silver Lake Country Club, perfect for those Instagrammable moments!
How close are you to Letchworth State Park?
The Silver Lake Haus is about a 10 minute drive to Letchworth State Park.
Can we host our wedding at your property?
We do not permit events at this property. If you wish to have an event locally and use this property for getting ready or photos, the Silver Lake Haus is a great home base. We recommend Silver Lake Country Club, Breezeway Barns, Normandie Orchards, East Hill Creamery, or Letchworth State Park.
