Good things deserve to be said out loud

We asked you to tag someone who deserved a little Dell magic. You told us about the people who make your lives better.

Friends who drop everything to listen. Teachers who keep giving. Moms who take care of everyone. Partners who make the hard days easier.

We started the Kindness Giveaway with a free stay in mind. Reading your comments became its own very good thing.

The little things you notice

One person called her friend “the warmest hug, always.” Another thanked someone “for being my rock, my safe place, and my home…no matter where we are.”

Someone nominated the person who will drop everything and listen. Someone else celebrated a music teacher who “gives and gives and gives.”

These were small glimpses into whole relationships. Years of showing up, paying attention, and making someone feel loved, tucked into a comment.

Then the kindness came back

The replies were some of our favorite parts.

“You made my day.”“You’re the best human.”“Thank you! Back at you!”

A nomination became a conversation. Someone said something kind, and the person they tagged got to hear it.

One coach spent time tagging friends. Then people nominated her, telling us about the children she coaches, the families she supports, and how much she gives to her community.

She was busy thinking of everyone else. They were thinking of her, too.

A little kindness for yourself

Some of you tagged yourselves. We loved that.

You wanted a quiet night, a change of scenery, time with someone you love, or a little room to breathe. Those are good things to ask for.

You belong on your own list of people worth taking care of.

Keep telling your people

Thank you for sharing these little pieces of your lives with us. We loved meeting your good people through your words.

If you wrote a comment, we hope your person read it. If someone came to mind while you were reading this, tell them.

“Thank you for showing up.”

“You make my life better.”

“I hope you know how much you matter.”
